The Woman's Angle

Today we are discussing an article we have from the Daily Wire. We discuss some comments made by a young female singer named Chappell Roan. She commented that she thought all of her friends with kids were sad, miserable people.

As parents we decided to share how incredibly wrong she really is. It wasn't that hard for us, and we don't think it will be that hard for any parent to see how confused the younger generation can be sometimes. They have grown up in a world where they are being told constantly having kids ends your life and your opportunities. It is easy to see how they would decide having kids is more trouble than it is worth.

Today we discussed how the left seems bent on the total destruction of President Trump and Elon Musk and their willingness to say anything to get people to go after them. Even people in the highest offices aren’t too good to try to get the crazies to come out of the woodwork. Is there an end that doesn’t include violence? We talked about all of it.

Today we discussed President Trump’s plan to shutter the Department of Education. We took some time to look at what the DOE has been up to for the last 40 years. Has the department created better outcomes for students? We looked at some stats. As is always fun, we discussed some of the hair on fire liberals who are certain education in the US will be dead if the Department of Education is dismantled.

Today we discussed some really happy news. Elon Musk and SpaceX brought home 2 astronauts that have been stranded in space for 9 months. Everyone should be celebrating. But it seems, because Musk was involved, the legacy media is determined to downplay the story. We talked about it.

We also gave a quick update on the war in Israel. Predictably, Hamas failed to hold up their end of the deal. Israel resumed bombing the crap out of them…As well they should. The left is losing its mind over those mean Israelis wanting their hostages back. We talked about that too.

Today we discussed President Trump’s plan to demolish taxes for people making less than $150,000. Added to his campaign promises of eliminating taxes on tips, social security and overtime, he is laying out some pretty bold plans to put money in American pockets. But how to make up the difference in the federal budget. Well he had some plans for that too. We got into all of it on today’s episode. Join us, won’t you while we talk about it.

Today we discussed an insane story from Politico about USAID. Apparently they are so intent on not letting DOGE see what they’ve been up to that they are shredding and burning everything. It is incomprehensible that any agency feels they have the authority to hide what they’re doing from the president. We got into what this could all mean.

Today, we discussed all things tariffs. Why do countries use them? What are they for? And most importantly, why Canada, Mexico and China are currently facing tariffs from the US? Tariffs have long been used in a variety of ways by governments all over the world. But when the US uses them, we are the bad guys. It seems, lately, the US is the bad guy no matter what we do. Join us for his interesting talk!

Even though this resolution has already passed the house, it hadn't gone through the senate yet. When we recorded this episode they were apparently voting on it. Our opinions are the same and still apply to what is happening in the government.

Today we discussed the continuing resolution and the impending government shut down if the senate doesn’t approve by Friday. Just like every 4 months or so, we have reached our debt ceiling and need more money to avoid a government shut down. Our discussion centered around stopping the 4 month cycle and actually having a functioning government. Join us for it!

Today we got a little fired up. Nothing makes a mother madder than telling her she doesn’t have a right to know what is going on in her kids’ life. That is exactly what the state of MA is telling parents whose children are gender transitioning to in school. This decision was held up by the lower courts in the state and will likely head all the way to the Supreme Court. We also got into another article that went through the possible implications for those in the LGBTQ community. Most of those were so ridiculous it would have been laughable if young lives weren't at stake. Listen to hear what we thought about all of it.

Today we discussed yet more foreign aid headed off to fight wars in faraway places. This time it is going to Israel. We discussed some possible differences between aid to Israel and Ukraine. We also have an update for you guys about the ongoing drama that stemmed from the Zelenskyy’s white house visit last week. It has been an exciting couple of days. I think Zelenskyy might actually be ready to negotiate. It is about time!
