Welcome to our brand new podcast! This is an hour long intro to Throwing Shade and Clay, a funny, witty, satirical, historical, well researched, and artistically inclined podcast designed to make you think about past events, modern society and how art binds it all together. We will discuss historical events, societal shifts, and moments in time that influenced, for better or worse, the world we live in today. The projects we make a share with you will be a mix of handbuilt clay, poured ceramics, canvas, and any other niknak worth our creating.  Join Karen and Louise as they learn about the Women's March on Versailles during the French Revolution, while they discuss their love for Mel Brooks and while they paint.
