Born in Helsinki, Finland., Rayne changed schools three times before high school. When she was very small, her mother used to read to her and helped her put letters together to form words. She read to Rayne  “A Thousand and One Nights.” When she was done reading, Rayne’s passion was born. From then on, she read everything with the printed word: matchboxes, newspapers, pamphlet and books, of course. When she was six years old, her father obtained a library card for her. It was one of the happiest days of her childhood. To this day, she reads at least three books a week
