Who is Jesus? God? Man? God-man? When John introduces the “logos” (the “word”) in John 1:1, he mentions that the Logos was in the beginning with God...and now in verse 14 he tells us that the logos “became” something. This shocking statement brings with it a bunch of questions, and perhaps the best way to approach understanding Jesus is to take it nice and slow, and let Scripture inform our understanding more than the professional theologians.
