Free Systems Alliance (FSA) - A group of planets under a shared doctrine that pledge to protect one another under threat of occupation.
Orbital Commerce Charter (OCC) - A Trade Organization established under the Edenic empire. When the empire fell, the OCC used its economic leverage to take advantage of the power vacuum, and now owns BEOWULF.
The Edenic Empire - The major ruling force for centuries, founded by the people of Old Earth. Also known as "Eden" or "The Garden". Fallen now.
Babel - A planet-sized supercomputer that has replaced all individually conscious artificial intelligences.
Striders - Giant mechs piloted by individual crew members.
Gamma Simulation - A robot.
EGO Neural Link - The neural chip inserted into the brain of most citizens in the Arcadia Sector, with built-in features such as a universal translator. Each EGO Link can be outfitted with additional modifications.
