Two weeks ago, we moved from the judgment of God to that which He will be judging. In Revelation 18, we saw much lamenting over the destruction of Babylon. The people will lose all hope as they watch the smoke from her destruction rise. Misguided hope is sad to watch. Unfortunately, much of our country today has a misguided hope.
In Revelation 19, the loud laments of Revelation 18 will be drowned out by the Hallelujahs from heaven calling attention to God. After the praise session in the first ten verses, we see Jesus coming in all His glory as He steps out of heaven to judge sin.
Our message title is “The Word of God,” and it comes from Revelation 19:1-21.
