The promised son arrives! That is the main point of Genesis 21:1-7. The son God promised Abraham and Sarah is finally born. While this was surely a joyous occasion for the new father and mother, it was also further proof that God's Word can always be trusted. If God says He is going to do something, He will do it. And nothing has changed. These verses offer us some very encouraging words when it comes to the Word of God.
