1 Corinthians 12

Miracles can often be sidelined as the rare/odd occurance in the church today. However, as I look at this facinating topic its obvious that miracles are a common place in the bible, both old and new testament. Plus, the Apostle Paul wrote that we would have spiritual gifts of miracles and ministries of 'workers' of miracles within the church today. Is there anything we can do to pursue this gift or is it just a random affair?
