Scripture uses language to describe a system of ideas, values, morals, practices and social norms that are integrated into mainstream culture and corrupted by the twin sins of rebellion against God and the redefinition of good and evil and calls it, "The World." (Live No Lies, by John Mark Comer). The Church must be a counter-cultural community of redemption in order to bring hope and healing into the world. And we do this, by living differently.
