This piece is contemplative. So much happens in our lives and some of it is really hard. When I think about the earth, steadily turning day by day, I find strength to keep moving forward, step by step. Through the hardships and struggles. Through the crazy emotions. Until I reach the beautiful sunrise, which warms my soul. I like taking solace in the rhythm of the earth. This piece in C Minor follows that steady rhythm. It’s a little forlorn but there are still moments of high sparkle.
