Improvisation is at the heart of Melbourne’s freestyle dance community. Most people are not familiar with the world of Waacking and improvisation, but for prominent freestyle dancer, Maggie Zhu, and singer, Isadora Lauritz, improvisation is a way of expressing their creativity together. In this audio documentary, I explore what Waacking is, how Maggie and Isadora's friendship evolved into an improvised collaboration and how Maggie's growth as a person helped improve her dance.
