Yesterday we saw the first Press Conference of the newly installed President Biden. Biden took no questions on China, and only briefly indicated that his approach would be different than his predecessor.

Rather than presenting a specific economic policy, Biden keeps the discussion focused on ideology, indicating that Chairman XI does not have a “democratic bone in his body.”
