Thumbay Group, a leading healthcare and hospitality conglomerate in the UAE, is set to launch the country's first hospital in the Metaverse, and is expected to go live in October 2022.

The hospital will be equipped with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) headsets, allowing long-term patients, who have been hospitalized for at least six months, are bedridden, or paralyzed to see their homes in VR or AR while receiving treatment.
