The Dallas Cowboys’ season officially came to an end after a 34–17 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, compounded by the Philadelphia Eagles’ win on Saturday, which mathematically eliminated Dallas from playoff contention.
Despite an early spark on offense, the Cowboys’ defense once again failed to get stops, allowing Justin Herbert and the Chargers to control the game after halftime. Dallas surrendered long drives, explosive plays, and was unable to force momentum-changing turnovers, while the offense was shut out in the second half, sealing a frustrating and familiar collapse.
Paul and Mike break down:
• Why the Cowboys defense continues to be a liability
• The lack of adjustments and in-game resistance
• How the Eagles officially ended Dallas’ playoff hopes
• Coaching decisions now under increased scrutiny
• What this loss means for draft position and the 2025 outlook
A season defined by defensive breakdowns ends the same way — with unanswered questions and a long offseason ahead for the Cowboys.
