This episode is the story of the worst client situation I have ever dealt with as a photographer. After years of working with someone I trusted, a major brand project slowly turned into late arrivals, rushed shoots, unprepared wardrobe, unpaid invoices, and work that made me look worse than the situation actually was.
I kept trying to protect the client, but in doing that, I ended up protecting the wrong person. This became one of the biggest lessons I have learned as a photographer, creative director, and independent contractor.
This episode is not about exposing someone. It is about understanding the cost of staying quiet, the importance of speaking up, and why photographers need to protect the process just as much as the final image.
Keep shooting.
