It's quite enjoyable, mainly because it remains straightforward and doesn't attempt to be something it's not: it's an action/revenge film, and that's all there is to it. It could have been improved if Jason Momoa's character wasn't so irritating and body-shaming others; I don't understand its inclusion, but it's off-putting, even if it's not frequent.
The actors look fantastic and perform well (except for the aforementioned): Dave Bautista is outstanding, Frankie Adams and Jacob Batalon bring fun energy, Morena Baccarin is flawless, and all the antagonists are solid. Overall, Jason Momoa fits the role, but at times he either overacts or underperforms. Still, he does a decent job overall.
Strong, brutal action, straightforward plot, and relatable characters. While there's nothing groundbreaking, everything is quite solid.
