🙅 The Wrong Approach To Networking 🤓

One of the things I've learned about networking, after having gone to a bunch of events -

When you meet somebody, and they're very direct, like there's some outcome they're after...

They can come on too strong.

Have you ever met people like this at a gathering?

You do not want to be that guy or gal.

What I've observed that works well, is when someone is:

1) confident & comfortable in their own skin

2) not pushy

3) doesn't have a sense of urgency for any specific thing

Those are signals that make you a person others want to work with.
