The X-files Part Four: Fr. Michael Lillie
One of my favorite account to follow on X is Fr. Michael Lillie. His posts are always edifying and on point. On a platform which thrives on negative attention, he has managed to build up a sizable following without engaging in negativity. In all the time I have been following him on X I have never once seen him fall into a passionate disagreement with another user. He sets a wonderful example for other Orthodox Christians who choose to use this social media platform.
Fr. Michael is rector of Nativity of Christ Orthodox Church in Youngstown Ohio. He is a graduate of St. Tikhon's seminary and was ordained to the priesthood in 2013. In our interview today we will find out about Fr. Michael's background before we dive into his approach to using social media to spread the faith. He has a YouTube channel which hosts his sermons and talks about the faith, and also runs an online store called Orthodox Warrior Apparel.
