SCENE 1

CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY,

VOLCANO OBSERVATORY,

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA, 2:45 AM

It isn’t a satellite glitch. 

"EMERGENCY TRANSMISSION. CASCADE VOLCANO RESEARCH TEAM REQUESTS IMMEDIATE AIRLIFT"

As the techs play with their joystick we see a body. Turns out its Erikkson and he isn’t alone. 

It’s not a ghost signal either. We lose signal and go to static.
