With the Xbox Activision deal approved many feel and fear this is just the beginning. The Microsoft Activision deal will obviously impact Xbox Game Pass games with titles like Call of Duty and World of Warcraft. But what about Amazon, Google, or Tencent? And now Xbox is without excuse for bad or failed games.

It will also be interesting to see people who supported the Xbox Activision Blizzard deal suddenly be against potential deals like Disney buying EA or Embracer Group layoffs likely preparing for their own new acquisitions. The new landscape of gaming and video games is potentially headed to a consolidation battle that won't help gamers.
