According to a recent report over at thurrott.com points to new things that may have led to Halo Infinite’s delay including outsourcing on the project, plus the Halo TV series.

Microsoft have announced The New Xbox Experience, a re-design of the UI across all devices that will increase speed of use across all Xbox products. The first of these updates will be the upcoming Xbox store update, but the dashboard and other apps will be updated at a future date (it looks alot like the Xbox app on PC).
