After a brief announcement on Friday about the raising of the price of Xbox Live Gold, Microsoft have confirmed that they will be keeping the price of Gold the same price, but will also be removing the free to play online barrier so you’ll be able to play Free to Play games without a gold subscription.

During the Resident Evil Showcase we got a release date of May 7th, 2021 for Resident Evil 8 and it will launch on Xbox One in addition to Series X and S! There will be a demo for the game in spring as well! There was also a new multiplayer only game called Re:Verse which will be free along with Village which will allow you to play as different heroes and villains from across the Resident Evil games in a deathmatch setting.
