Kayaks aren’t for everyone, but Jessica and Allen are here to make the case for the bass boat enthusiast to maybe try one out!  Some have argued that kayaks are nothing like bass boats, and that could not be further from the truth.  They have a lot in common, and transitioning may be way easier than you thought! There are a lot of different ways for anglers to compete in the kayak fishing world.  Our good friends Dan Perry and Jeremie Baker are two avid anglers that have just wrapped up the inaugural season with the Kayak Fishing League for 2021 fishing for the Alabama Hammers.  We connected with them and caught up to congratulate them on a top-4 finish as well as pick their brains on some of their favorite places they've been and fish they've caught on the tournament scene.  Take a listen and learn some of the ways these guys stay on top of their game!    

Fishing is such a unique sport because we are not limited to participating only a certain time of the year.  We can choose to fish whenever we want January to December, and each season provides its own unique approach and challenges to catching bass.  In this episode, Allen and Jessica break down the different techniques they use throughout the year as well as how each season of bass fishing differs from the others.  You never know when you'll catch your personal best, so get out there any time you can!

The competitive scene with any sport can not only be intimidating but confusing as well. Allen and Jessica are here to provide some tips and tricks to help navigate through the mess for you and mitigate some stress along the way, too.  Whether you are challenging yourself or looking to start a serious career, you have to start somewhere so take a listen and maybe learn a little bit to help you catch some fish on tournament day!
