This world is in big trouble. We are in a fix we cannot fix. God himself must open our eyes to what happens to be the source of the problem. Once God's revelation enters the scene, the problem becomes very simple and basic. And that problem is sin.

As Jesus began his public ministry in the book of Luke, he was given the Scroll of Isaiah. He unrolled that scroll to a certain place that read, "The Spirit of the Lord in on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor" (Luke 4:18-19). Jesus entered this world to fulfill this prophetic promise in Isaiah. Jesus will enter anyone's life to make this promise come true. It is important to know that this promise is only available so long as time exists. One day, for everyone, time will be no more.
