We're almost through the 80's on The Roots of Alternative Podcast, as Jack and dXn embark on the year 1988.

1988 seemed to be another huge shift in the sound of the decade with glimpses into the sound of the coming decade and hits from Pixies, Jane's Addiction, R.E.M., INXS, and more! We also learn a new side to dXn and discover what song played a huge role in one of the most memorable moments of a young man's life!

It's all down hill next week as we close out the decade with the biggest hits from 1988! In two weeks we'll have our SEASON FINALE where we wrap up the 1980's and talk about some of our favorites from the decade, then it's on to the 90's this November!
