The year was 1992...

Listen Later

In 1992, we continue on the high note that the previous year gave us with even more memorable hits that have stood the test time.

Red Hot Chili Peppers shook up the scene with their album, Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik. The Cure return with their popular song "Friday I'm In Love," plus hits from Temple of the Dog, Beastie Boys, The Sugarcubes, and much more.

In this episode we also introduce a new segment called "Alternative101." dXn gives Jack a homework assignment to listen to an album he's never heard before and get his reaction. This week, Jack reviews the debut, self-titled album from Blind Melon.

NEXT WEEK (11/27) Jack & dXn take another deep dive with a special bonus episode all about the hit album Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik from The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
