A Mysterious Discovery

Night is about to fall on Nanga Parbat. With each swing of his ice axe, and relying solely on the strength of his arms and legs, Augusto Gansser manages to ascend to the top of the cliff. Once on the plateau, his first instinct is to help his comrades behind him. He pulls them up one by one in the final meters before collapsing on the ground, utterly exhausted. The young geologist takes a few well-deserved minutes of rest. Then suddenly... it's one of the sherpas accompanying him! Panicked, Augusto rushes to meet him. "What's happening?? Is there a problem with the supplies or the equipment?". Wide-eyed, the porter trembles like a leaf, pointing his finger towards a series of footprints leading away in the snow. The footprints are not human... and they are gigantic.
