We unpack the image of the Passover door post and translate it into present-tense identity: a visible, unmistakable seal that ends confusion about who we are and who we belong to. Along the way, I recount my unexpected journey through Las Vegas, a place many call 'sin city', and how the Spirit reframed it as soil for ministry. Bloom where you’re planted becomes more than advice; it becomes a mandate to show up faithfully in imperfect rooms, with imperfect gear, and a willing heart.
We also address a quieter crisis: wrongly divided truth. If scripture instruct us to rightly divide truth it can be wrongly divided—and when it is, misunderstanding and misguidance follows. I offer a corrective posture: childlike faith that is playful in trust and serious in holiness, letting God straighten the crooked places while we keep the cross at the center. The thread running through every segment is simple and searching: repentance isn’t punishment; it’s invitation. Redemption isn’t theory; it’s a living seal. And a yielded vessel, even in a noisy world, is enough when God is the one doing the sending.
