On the 12 and the 13th of Tamuz, we celebrate the liberation of The Previous Rebbe from prison and exile in5687 (1927), 95 years ago. The PR was incarcerated in the Shpalerna prison in Leningrad and later exiled to Kastrama. This came as a response from the government, reacting to his mesiras nefesh for strengthening and increasing Yeshivos, Chadorim and Mikvaos etc.
In commemorating the two days of the Geula, we feature a series of 12 installments which discuss the background, events and the Yom Tov of יב-יג תמוזduring the following years.
