Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe was an English serial killer who terrorized several cities in Yorkshire from 1975 to 1980. He targeted sex workers and brutally attacked and murdered 13 women. Sutcliffe was eventually caught and found guilty of the murders, receiving 20 concurrent life sentences. He appealed his sentencing multiple times but was denied parole. Sutcliffe died in 2020 from COVID-19.
