Today we travel back to August 8, 1964 for the second episode of Theater Five. This was part of an ABC anthology show which was an attempt to revive the radio drama. This was known as Theater Five because an episode aired each weekday at 5:00 (drive time) and there were five episodes each week. These episodes are about 20 minutes each so the rest of the half hour time slot could be filled with ads and a news update.
