Before turning a life long passion into a profession as a realtor, Michael went to University focusing on Human Resource Management at Ryerson University. He took his knowledge in the field and worked in various HR roles including pension, benefits and staffing. These positions allowed him to hone and refine his natural people skills and provide top level service.
After a number of years Michael decided to change careers and parlay his interest and skills into commercial plumbing and joined the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. He had the opportunity to work on many notable and high profile projects in the GTA, some of which required very demanding and rigorous work schedules and duties. His time as a plumber improved upon his strong organizational and communication skills since the scale of the projects were quite large and required precise coordination between many trades.
The slow down of the economy over the past number of years drastically affected the commercial plumbing industry and the supply of work in the GTA. Michael saw this as an opportunity to dive full steam into real estate and has not looked back since.
As a realtor, Michael brings with him a natural ability to speak and negotiate with people and draws from his past experiences in construction to advise clients appropriately regarding properties. He is accustomed to working hard, always keeping the big picture in focus and managing resources to get to the desired outcome for his clients. Being a realtor is more than a profession for Michael, it’s a lifestyle."
