The failure , through refusal or neglect, to conform to or obey a command of a duly empowered superior is DISOBEDIENCE.

In the scriptures the primary focus is a failure to properly respond to the commands of the WORD in loving agreement or consent without protest. In both the Old Testament and the New Testament God is insistent that those who are disobedient shall be punished.
