Cessationism carries a scary tone with it.  Often when I mention that I am a Cessationist, people run the other way.  But more often than that, they have a false understanding of what we as Cessationists actually believe.  On this episode we begin to talk about the truths of the doctrine and discredit some of the lies spoken about it.  Part two will be next week.

Reflecting upon my big social media break from last week and what it taught me about the importance of using our social media platforms for helping others grow in their knowledge of Christ.

Bill Johnson from Bethel Church recently discussed his reasoning behind praying for Baby Olive and creating an absolutely unnecessary spectacle. We will spend some brief time on this and then discuss why any of this even matters - why it is so important that we contend, and strive, and toil, to make sure we defend the faith once for all delivered to the saints.
