Self reflection is an art, a practice, a way of life. Learning ways to self reflect in a healthy way can be challenging at first. There’s a number of ways the mind and ego resist the process of change, and keep us trapped in our negative thinking patterns and reactive behavior.

Sometimes we naturally communicate in a way that defends our perspective and explains our behavior, not realizing the cost can be invalidating our partners and denying accountability in our part of the problem.

In this episode I share some insights on ways to share accountability and focus on solution-based rather than problem-based communication. This can feel a bit tricky and difficult to do at first, but the results can drastically change your relationship and overall perspective in conflict resolution.

Therapy ruined my ability to use unconsciously. Before entering recovery, I was better able to escape and numb my feelings or control how I felt. After therapy, counseling, and attendance in support groups, that life was no longer able to function as it once did. In this episode, I share my experience, strength and hope that your life, too, can be ruined. My hope is to ruin a life that is not working for you, and hopefully be a catalyst to you creating your own change, and into a new life.
