There is a Time to Confront & a Time to Let Pass
When we parent oppositional children, those kids who have tendencies to be more defiant, we have to show a level of flexibility. These are kids who tend to be more defiant. These are kids who tend to be more difficult. We are more likely going to discuss issues "later" and come back to moments at a later time. There is a time to let pass, particularly during negative episodes.
