Coffee & Revelations

There is Hope!

Listen Later

In this episode, I am joined again by my husband, Maurice Mathis, in the final episode of a 3-part series focused on our NICU experience with our Miracle Twins in 2017. This week's episode brings our journey full-circle, as we discuss our emotions as we brought both twins home, the beauty of hope "on the other side" of a trial, and the joy that is available as you overcome. As you listen, and as you face your own challenges (whether in the NICU or otherwise), cling to the words of Jeremiah in Lamentations 3:19-27 (MSG):"I’ll never forget the trouble, the utter lostness, the taste of ashes, the poison I’ve swallowed. I remember it all—oh, how well I remember— the feeling of hitting the bottom. But there’s one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on hope: God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up. They’re created new every morning. How great your faithfulness! I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left. God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. It’s a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God. It’s a good thing when you’re young to stick it out through the hard times."No matter where you are, what you are going through, or what you have been through, always remember, THERE IS HOPE, and JESUS is that hope.Keep holding on!Please feel free to check us out on the following platforms:Website: The Jesus BrandInstagram: @theJesusbrandonlineFacebook: Notes of Hope from 6.27Etsy Shop: https://etsy.me/3kE2qSvAs always, thank you so much for tuning in, sharing, and rating the podcast!
