Let’s ponder the fact that we barely live in the present as we constantly think about future outcomes. We differ value forward but never cash out.

One solution is to look for task oriented actions versus time oriented actions. Look for leisure hobbies as opposed to self improvement hobbies that are future focused activities. Many creative endeavours fit this mindset.

The metric should be about matching your to-do lists and your available time" as opposed to doing more things.
