This podcast is an extension to the book, Beautiful, I am Colored. In the book, Evelyn provides a snapshot into her life by sharing short intimate stories of her lived experience in hopes that in sharing her stories, others will find inspiration, motivation, and healing. Initially, this podcast served as a space for Evelyn to read her book and expound on the stories shared in the book. Future seasons of the podcast will focus on different topics each week and feature guests.
