There Weren't Many Autumn Leaves
In continuation with sharing my Prayer Journal, I will start with an entry from 08/27/24 titled, "There Weren't Many Autumn Leaves Vision." The Lord showed me this open-eyed vision while I was praying. I encourage you to read the entire passages to the scripture references mentioned.
John 4: 35-36
35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
Matthew 9: 35-38
The Workers Are Few
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
