In this episode, I talk about understanding that Addiction is an illness and how we should offer grace to those trying to get clean. I urge addicts to go to NA and AA when or if they are ready to start their recovery and healing journey. I close with a story about my child's father, who, unfortunately, was overtaken by the beast that is drug addiction. I talk about his sacrifice to walk away from being a dad to try to battle his disease. I talked about letting her know that her dad loved her and was sick. My children and I have gone down many roads and have faced many trials, but we have always come out of the storm stronger and better than when we went in. I close with the title of the next 6-part series of season 1, titled Tales of a Teen mom.
