Here in this season 1 series 2 episode 7, we will be diving into how my family and I navigated the Crack epidemic. We went from having it all to losing it all. It was as if an explosion had blown up our lives. I recount the first time I saw a table full of what I later learned was cocaine, to home invasions, thefts, and guns being pulled on us as kids. I go into how often we moved around, and at times, not knowing where our mother was during binges. I survived the crack epidemic and have the scars and stories, aka the receipts, to show I made it despite it all.
