The idea that we can do single-handedly accomplish everything that God has called us to do is, simply put, a stupid one.

In my first week of marriage, I have learned (quite rapidly, I might add) that my wife has so many strengths that I don't have or even realized I needed. She can say the same thing about me (I hope). That's all well and good, but this all made me think about how I have seen some men feel humiliated or threatened because they came face-to-face with the reality that they can't do everything on their own.

So I'm going to tell you how to stay humble and learn to appreciate instead of despise the gifts and strengths in others.
