After the attack in the alleyway the group, is escorted to their new apartment. The stranger that saved them, named Jk'Erouack, reveals they are also working for Veronica Slain and provides some information on their employer.

Seeking to not stick out as much, and to procure some times for the adventure, the group goes shopping. They visit Keith at Heime's Haberdashery, and Pisek at Heroic Goods and Acoutrama to prepare.
