EPISODE 6 - Sexual Trauma with Sex Therapist Sylvia Anim
*TRIGGER WARNING*
In this episode of Sex from Every Angle, I discuss Sexual Trauma and Abuse with Sylvia Anim who is a registered Sex and Relationship Therapist and the Director of Sex Talk with Sylvs — a Community Interest Company which will give a percentage of its profits back to the local community. She has been working with people for the last three years and is a proud member of the Black, African and Asian Therapy Network (BAATN) and the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT).
Sylvia has appeared on Olonì’s Laid Bare and Supreme Radio, and contributed to The Independent and BBC News World Service podcast, sharing her insights on sexuality, relationships, and emotional well-being within marginalised communities. She also partners with companies to create workshops that center women’s psychological, emotional, sexual, and inner child well-being, amplifying conversations that are often overlooked.
