Theseus is the new news-centric solo show I do on the Patreon. Maybe "news-centric" isn't the right description. Information-centric, maybe? I like reading articles and different kinds of journalism. I'm putting this episode up for free as a taste and because it is one of the dumbest things I've done trying to understand something smart. This felt unhinged as I was doing it and someone I showed a couple minutes of this to said to me, "How can you possibly expect anyone to sit through more than 3 seconds of this, let alone charge them for it?" So I'm putting this one up for free.

For this episode, I was researching the three scientists who won the Nobel prize in chemistry this year for their work on Quantum Dots, and I went back to a paper on quantum theory published in 1937 to give myself a foundation before diving into new discoveries. This episode covers the 1937 study on quantum theory and the current developments in quantum dot nanotech.

I was really interested in organic chemistry, physics, and calculus, but too drunk and lazy and not Chinese enough to understand those subjects.
