This week’s stranger, KHAULA MALIK, is a filmmaker who has been exploring the stories of the khwaja-sera (also known as hijra) community in Pakistan for the last few years. She talks to us about her experience of following 3 particular trans women and all the challenges and rewards that have come with the journey so far. We also discuss some of her other explorative projects, growing up as a tomboy in a South-Asian family, and more.
