Thien Mu pagoda, which is also known as Linh Mu, lies on a hill overlooking the picturesque Huong (Perfume) river in Hue city in central Vietnam. The pagoda was built in 1601 under the reign of Lord Nguyen Hoang, the first of the Nguyen Lords who ruled the southern provinces of Vietnam. Featuring unique architecture, Thien Mu pagoda is one of the oldest and holiest sites in Hue – the former imperial capital of Vietnam.
