We aren’t just saved, we are called to obey. We belong to God as a child of God. Being a slave to God’s will leads to freedom and fullness of life. We may be mastered by money, or by the future. Perhaps it’s bullying, or fear of rejection, or an addiction. No one can serve two masters. We are to re-prioritise our values to be focused on eternal things of God. It’s the things in our immediate world that so often begin to master us. Read the word of God with a hunger. Pray sincerely all the time. Serve somewhere – the degree of your growth and flourishing in fruitfulness will depend on the master that is handling your life.
