1. It is impossible for God to lie (Titus 1:2; Hebrews 6:18).

2. It was impossible for Jesus to avoid the cross (Matthew 26:39).

3. It was impossible for Jesus to remain dead (Acts 2:22-24).

Applications:

1. Put your personal trust in Jesus and be saved.  It is impossible to be saved any other way (Acts 4:12; John 14:6).

2. Trust God moment-by-moment.  It is impossible to please Him without faith (Hebrews 11:6).
